A hymn to the memory of the last king of the Dacian people, the great Decebalus. A legendary figure who battled the army of the Roman Empire in the war against their conquering campaigns in the East and who in the end commited the ultimate sacrifice. For he was to die a free man when, surrounded by the Roman soldiers, they were to take him prisoner to Rome and be displayed in front of the Roman Emperor Trajan! The land and its rich forests, with their sacred "chosen leaflet" and the wild beasts of the mythical Carpathian Mountains, kept true and carried through time the message of the free spirit of the hero king.
